Your first session with a psychologist is an important starting point. It’s a time to discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. You'll have the opportunity to share at your own pace while your psychologist listens, asks thoughtful questions, and works with you to create a plan tailored to your needs. This session is all about understanding you—and helping you feel supported from the start.
