Cheryl Wile (She/Her) | PSYCHOLOGIST
Cheryl is a registered psychologist with over 25 years of experience. Compassionate and caring, she draws on a range of approaches to tailor treatment plans to each client’s unique needs. Cheryl works with clients aged 17 and over on a wide variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, trauma and PTSD, grief, anger, addictions, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, sexuality, burnout, LGBTIQ-related issues, ageing, and end-of-life concerns.
She strives to create a safe, warm, and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop self-awareness, and build coping skills. Cheryl aims to empower clients to manage their lives effectively and optimize their future. She has a special interest in palliative care and enjoys working with diverse client groups.
Cheryl’s therapeutic approach draws on Emotion-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She regards the trust clients place in her as a privilege and approaches her work with dedication and respect.
