Jacki Schurmann (She/Her) | PRINCIPAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Jacki is a Clinical Psychologist with nearly 15 years of experience providing individual and group-based therapies to adults across public mental health, forensic, and private practice settings. She is passionate about creating a sense of safety and comfort for her clients and offers evidence-based interventions to support meaningful and lasting change.

Jacki works with individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma and dissociation, substance use, personality disorders, workplace stress, relationship and adjustment difficulties, parenting challenges, and grief and loss. She welcomes referrals from LGBTQI+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy, Jacki tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), as recognised by the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA), and is a Board-Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
