Rachel Tallent (She/Her) | CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Rachel is a Clinical Psychologist and former Olympian, with experience working in both public mental health and private clinics. Rachel works with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, and has experience supporting a broad range of concerns including anxiety, depression, Autism, ADHD, and trauma.
Rachel employs a friendly, collaborative and non-judgemental approach, with the aim of creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their difficulties. Rachel primarily uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also drawing upon a range of evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to the individual, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has also completed training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and works with individuals who have experienced trauma, including in high-pressure and performance environments.
Rachel’s particular areas of interest include sports performance, trauma, and the assessment and treatment of depression and anxiety. She also works with individuals experiencing stress, relationship difficulties, ADHD, ASD and challenges with emotion regulation.
