Jamie McDonald (Him/He) | PSYCHOLOGIST
Jamie is a generally registered psychologist with experience supporting adolescents in school and private practice settings, as well as adults in private practice. She works with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions such as ASD (client or parental support only), phobias, bullying, emotional neglect, and general mental health and wellbeing. Jamie also incorporates positive psychology and mindfulness strategies to enhance resilience and coping.
Jamie practices in an integrative context, combining evidence-based approaches with a focus on empathy, genuineness, and positive regard. She prioritises collaboration and goal-consensus, working together with clients to understand their concerns and develop tailored strategies to overcome them.
